The public library provides with basic free access to current, high-demand, high-interest books, DVDs, music CDs, books on tape, magazines and newspapers. The library system consists of the main library, four branch libraries and the bookmobile.
Recently, the library completed and moved into the Burnside Branch Library, a new 4,000-square-foot facility on East French Avenue. This branch now offers a meeting room for the community as well as the usual library services. The library’s goal has been and remains to create a welcoming environment with a friendly, competent staff and strive to introduce children and adults to the joys and rewards of reading and using the public library.
